Rail Link 4

The project client made the decision to adopt Monarc's Diamond honed solution as a result of noticeable reduction/elimination of tagging and graffiti from the nearby similar rail underpass project at cavendish link where unlike standard concrete canvases, The Monarc diamond honed panels were left unscathed.

Aggregate exposure enhancements using Monarc's Diamond honing to the surfaces also provided unique functional advantages reducing risk of abrasion and snagging to a heavy and congested pedestrian traffic flow. The contrasting Portland cement and dark aggregates also reduces the effect of surface glare.

The 'visual noise' attribute of Monarc's smooth Diamond Honed finish seems to deter taggers while rendering an exposed aggregate surface that is safe and easily manageable.
