There are a number of parameters within which to design Monarc precast panels taking into consideration the physical ability of the Monarc processing machinery, crane and gantry capacities and Transportation constraints such as truck load limits, bridge heights and oversize special equipment etc...

The following 'safe' Monarc design parameters will assist you with economical design and provide a smooth transition from your Drawings to Panel installation.

• 3.2 meters in either panel width or height
• 350mm in panel thickness
• Length subject to transport (Typically 12 meters)
• Weight Max 20 tonne (over-dimension panels require special review and consideration and may incur additional costs for special transportation, lifting and handling equipment .)
• No projecting components or profiles. (substitute starter bars with threaded inserts or Drossbachs)

The price of Monarc is determined by your Monarc Product Selections and the time it will take to manufacture the Monarc panel. Monarc's offers a wide range of selections each providing variable Colours, Textures and decorative Detailing capabilities. Concrete Blends can vary significantly depending on the raw ingredients of Sand aggregates and cements types. Similarities in Monarc Panels allow us to pass on savings in production efficiencies to the project.

Yes, Monarc can provide some finishes double sided. Monarc can also provide hand honed edges to panels.

Please note that whilst we take all practical steps to deliver as close as possible matching finishes to both mould an near faces Newton's Law can prevail and Gravity can affect the visibility of aggregates at the top near face surface appearing less dense when compared to the mould face side of the panel, this is a natural uncontrollable occurrence in precast concrete production. 

Yes Monarc panels can incorporate thermal insulation componentry into the precast panels

With a raft of experience in thermally insulated architectural panels Monarc Panels adopt a thicker front facing than typically recommended to accommodate the pneumatic pressures induced onto the panel during Monarc's surface refinement processes. 

Typical panel widths increase form 250mm to 300mm and deliver R-values of  approx R-2.5
